Class 5

As part of our topic about ‘Underground’, we have been looking at WW1. Understanding how the soldiers survived in the trenches.

Mr Canadine is starting a new Football Training After-School Club which will run on a Thursday.

Year five have made a super start to the new school year. Our topic this term is ‘Underground’. We have made a start by discovering what animals live underground and how they survive.

Yesterday, Year 5 children visited the Rotherham Town Hall.

Children in Year 5 attended Broadacres Residential Home to take part in a sing-a-thon.

Y5 pupils at the BBC school report day at Rawmarsh CLC where they experienced the life of a real TV journalist. They were fantastic.

Year 5 have been extending their knowledge of shape this week! They have enjoyed participating in hands-on activities and they were fantastic at applying their learning to sorting shapes into Carroll and Venn diagrams! Well Done Year 5 and Keep up the great work!
