Art in Special Mention Assembly!
This week in Special Mention Assembly, we celebrated the subject of Art. Our children are working so hard on developing their art skills, and they could talk about artists they were studying and different styles of art. Great work, well done! #WeWorkHard
Virtual Peak District Tour in Y4!
Today in Geography, we went on a virtual walking tour of the Peak District. We visited Mam Tor and Kinder Scout, two of the most visited mountains in the peak district! We looked at different features of a mountain, and began to draw and label our own. Well done Y4! #WeWorkHard
Harvest Festival Celebration!
This morning, Y4, Y5 and Y6 represented Ashwood Primary during the Harvest Festival celebrations at The High Street Centre! The children sang songs about Harvest, and learnt more about the festival from Reverend Louise. Well done everyone! #WeListenToOthers

We’re Going on a Bear Hunt in FS2!
Over the last few weeks, FS2 have been enjoying the popular story by Michael Rosen, We’re Going on a Bear Hunt. They have re-enacted the story many times, and it’s now a favourite whenever they play outside and make their own story maps. Beautiful storytelling FS2, well done!

Mixing Science and PE in Y4!
