Mrs Cully
Hello Year 3!
My name is Mrs Cully and I am so excited to be your teacher in September. I can’t wait to meet you all and start our wonderful learning journey together- I wonder what we will discover along the way?
I love learning new things, so you will often find me reading non-fiction books, watching documentaries, researching interesting topics or trying to learn a new skill like playing the Banjo!
One of my favourite things about teaching is helping children discover what they are capable of and achieve their very best, so I am really looking forward to getting to know you all, learning together and helping each of you grow in confidence throughout the year.

Meet your teaching assistant
Miss Griffiths
Hello! My name is Miss Griffiths and I’m so excited to be your new teaching assistant. I enjoy spending my time at school supporting the teacher and the class to be able to have the best day possible and I like how every day I get to see the class learn something new!
Outside of school, I love spending my time reading, going to the cinema with my family and friends, and travelling to visit new places as much as I can. I have two black cats called Cosmo and Mabel, who are siblings. I also love building Lego, my favourite Lego set that I own is the castle from Walt Disney World.
Areas of Learning
We have an exciting curriculum planned and the children will be taught exciting lessons which will enable them to become geographers, historians, scientists to name just a few. We have planned some wonderful learning opportunities for the children and will be taking part in some exciting class visits to further support our learning at school.
In English, we will continue to use a wide range of quality texts that children will love reading and bringing to life through creative activities and support our writing.
Our maths learning will continue building on our understanding of number and support us with becoming more fluent with our number facts and knowledge of multiplication and division and how to use this in real life situations.
