EYFS Maths Manipulatives
EYFS children have been using manipulatives in Maths. Manipulative materials are objects designed to represent abstract mathematical ideas in a explicit and concrete way. They have both visual and tactile appeal and can be manipulated by learners through hands-on experiences. Manipulatives are particularly useful resources for children with SEND.
