Place Value Knowledge with Year 1

So far this week in Year 1 we have been playing lots of games to support our place value knowledge. We enjoyed creating our own snakes and ladders game using our 100 square carpet, playing bowling and recognising the numbers that we knocked down and identifying the different numbers that the dominos represent.

Year 4’s New Art Topic

In year 4 we are looking at Anglo Saxon masks this half term in Art. We are looking at how portraits are created and how shape plays an important  role. We will build on our portrait work, eventually creating our own masks in the Anglo Saxon style using clay.

Author Visit for Year 1

Year 1 really enjoyed our visit from the Author Jenny York. We loved listening to her share some of her stories and we even got to dress up as some of the characters!

Y6 Computing Curriculum
