At Ashwood, our personal development curriculum is all about preparing pupils for real-life situations – including knowing what to do in an emergency. This week, our FS1 children took part in first aid training and learned how to apply a bandage to a wound. They showed fantastic focus and care as they practised keeping cuts clean and making sure bandages were ‘not too tight, not too loose’.
We are so proud of how confidently and responsibly the children approached the session. A fantastic effort from all of our young first aiders!
