Yesterday, EYFS welcomed some very special visitors from Leanimals Mobile Zoo! The children had a fantastic time meeting a variety of animals and showed curiosity and respect throughout the experience. They asked great questions, shared their knowledge, and showed real care when handling the animals.
We were especially proud of the resilience shown by some children who bravely overcame their nerves to hold the giant millipede for the first time! While waiting for their turn, the children enjoyed drawing pictures of the animals and practising their writing, with some even independently writing the name of Elvis the tortoise.
A huge thank you to our wonderful Ashwood community. This experience was fully funded through money raised by our Toy Stall, making it a fantastic opportunity for all of our children to enjoy!
