At Rawmarsh Ashwood Primary, we are proud to support Children in Need each year. This special event gives our pupils the opportunity to live out The Ashwood Way, while making a real difference to the lives of children across the UK.
Throughout the day, our children take part in fun activities that help them understand the importance of compassion, community and helping others. Whether it’s dressing up, getting active, or taking part in classroom challenges, our pupils always approach Children in Need with enthusiasm and pride.
Supporting Children in Need also gives us the chance to show our commitment to the Ashwood Pledges, helping pupils develop into responsible, caring and confident young people. By raising money and taking part, children work towards pledges such as:
- Supporting charities and causes
- Making a positive contribution to the community
- Showing kindness and understanding towards others
We are incredibly proud of the way our children embrace these values. Their efforts each year show what it truly means to be part of the Ashwood family – coming together to help others and striving to make the world a better place.
