On Friday 27th March, FS2 rounded off an incredible term with a well-earned celebration! We are extremely proud of the progress the children have made, particularly the significant improvements in phonics. It felt like the perfect opportunity to recognise their hard work with a fun and memorable day.
The morning began with a special visit from Coco and Cottontail, two friendly rabbits who joined us in the classroom. The children showed great care and confidence as they enjoyed meeting and gently interacting with them. Later, the children got creative by decorating their own Easter eggs, producing bright and imaginative designs that reflected their individuality.
In the afternoon, the celebrations continued with dancing to a playlist chosen by the children themselves, followed by a party lunch. What made this even more special was that every item was selected from shopping lists written independently by the children, putting their literacy skills into real-life practice. A fantastic way to end the term, celebrating both achievement and enjoyment!
