This week, Y5 pupils have been exploring decimals and percentages. They have been building their understanding of how numbers link together, from place value in decimals to recognising that 0.50 is the same as 50%. It’s been great to see their confidence grow as they make these connections.
So far, they have been developing their understanding of decimals, including tenths and hundredths, linking fractions and percentages, and applying their knowledge to real-life contexts such as measurements and simple calculations. Amazing work, well done!
