Recently, KS2 enjoyed a fantastic Pantomime Dance Workshop, provided by Rotherham Civic Theatre. Pupils learned how movement can be used to tell a story, exploring classic pantomime characters and learning energetic dance routines. They then worked together to create and perform their own pantomime dances.
The routines were not always easy, but our pupils showed the Ashwood Way by staying resilient, supporting each other and practising until they got it right! A huge thank you to the team at Rotherham Civic Theatre for inspiring our pupils and giving them such a fantastic opportunity to explore the performing arts.
