Y5 visited Kelham Island this week to explore the story of making in the city, from master craftsmen to mass production.
They experienced life and work during the Industrial Revolution, followed the sights and sounds of progress through the Victorian era, celebrated the Women of Steel and saw how industry forged the modern city.
The children were blown away by the museum and learnt so much! Highly recommended!
