Spring Time in FS2

Last term, FS2 were learning about Spring and how this time of year often brings changes and new life. What better way to learn about changes or transformation than through caring for our very own caterpillars.

The caterpillars lived on our Investigation Station, and every day the children would investigate, ask questions and predict what may happen next. They watched the caterpillars grow larger and eventually create chrysalis. Until they eventually emerged as beautiful butterflies, which we released in the outside area.

Well done, FS2!
