Rawmarsh Ashwood’s Year 6 residential trip to Cave Dale and Ulley was an unforgettable adventure filled with challenge, teamwork, and fun! The children showed incredible determination throughout, pushing themselves beyond their comfort zones!
They all took part in a stunning hike through Cave Dale, where they navigated rocky paths and steep climbs while taking in the beautiful Peak District scenery. Their perseverance during the hike was fantastic. At Ulley, the excitement continued with a fantastic range of watersports and other land based activities. Every child had the chance to try something new, and build confidence on the water.
Another particular highlight was the delicious freshly cooked, wood-fired pizzas that gave everyone a well-earned energy boost after a day of adventure. The residential also offered plenty of time to relax, have fun with friends, and get to know others they will be joining in Year 7.
It really was an incredible few days, packed with memorable moments that our Year 6 children will carry with them into the next stage of their journey!
