FS2 have already completed so much Maths learning, and the children’s enthusiasm has been really shining through! Our Maths Area has quickly become a favourite during free play, with many children choosing to spend time sorting, matching, and categorising different items and shapes.
As a class we have been focusing on 1, 2, 3, playing close attention to the different ways we can make 3.
The best part has been seeing the proud smiles when they make new discoveries or share their thinking with others.
We can’t wait to see how their confidence with numbers continues to grow over the term!
