FS2 have had a fantastic week celebrating the Lunar New Year and welcoming the Year of the Horse!
To welcome a year of health and happiness, pupils have been:
- Spring Cleaning: Pupils learned about the tradition of sweeping away the “old” to make room for good luck, working together to get their classroom sparkling.
- Festive Decorations: The children used their creative skills to craft beautiful homemade lanterns and “Good Fortune” signs to decorate the space.
- A Taste of Celebration: Everyone explored new flavours by preparing and tasting some delicious traditional food.
- Fan Dancing: Pupils practised elegant fan dancing moves, developing their coordination and rhythm while celebrating the energy of the New Year.
It has been a joy to see the children embrace these traditions with curiosity and respect. We wish all our families a year filled with prosperity and happiness!
