FS2 have become really confident when ordering numbers, recognising amounts and recreating the step pattern. Now, it is time to explore one more and one less. This has been challenging and the children will keep revisiting this skill to ensure this mathematical concept is embedded. They first need to remember that ‘one more’ means a number getting bigger, and ‘one less’ means a number getting smaller.
