Y6 Crucial Crew Trip

Yesterday, the children in Year 6 attended Crucial Crew, a multi-agency safety education programme designed to equip them with essential life skills in a safe and interactive environment.

Run by local councils alongside the police, fire services, and other community organisations, Crucial Crew offers a wide range of simulated scenarios that allow children to experience real-life situations in a controlled setting. During the visit, pupils explored topics such as fire and water safety, road safety, understanding the criminal justice system, and emergency procedures.

The day was both educational and engaging, giving the children a chance to learn in a hands-on way while having fun. It was fantastic to see them confidently taking part in the activities, asking questions, and reflecting on what they had learned.

Overall, Crucial Crew provided an excellent opportunity for our Year 6 pupils to develop their understanding of personal safety, gain confidence, and become more aware of the world around them. Well done, Year 6!
