This week, Ashwood’s school nurse, Jade, visited with her colleagues to talk to the children about how to stay healthy and look after themselves.
Everyone had the chance to explore real medical equipment, including a stethoscope, blood pressure monitor and thermometer, sort healthy and unhealthy foods, and even try out what it might be like to be a dentist.
It was a fantastic session. Not only do the children now know more about keeping themselves healthy, but there are also quite a few aspiring doctors in the class!
