Phonics Learning
FS2 are working so hard with phonics and trying different ways to remember our sounds (phonemes) and practice reading simple words in fun new ways. We play different games such as matching pairs, hide tricky words around the room and even read CVC words on our snack!
Year 6 WW2 History Topic
Last week, Year 6 celebrated the end of their History unit on World War II with a VE celebration. The children took part in a range of activities such as baking, art and the lindy hop! It was such a wonderful day!

Christmas dinner day was so much fun last week! Yummy food with all our friends and teachers. We even had a impromptu dance in the hall. Lots of smiles and happiness! 🤗🎄 A rest was needed in the afternoon though, a Christmas Bluey episode was just what we needed before our afternoon learning.

Community Caroling
Year 4 had a lovely morning this week singing to the residents and their families at Broadacres care home. There was lots of laughter and smiles and the residents joined in with our beautiful singing. It felt very festive! 🎄🎶
Christingle Celebrations
Y2, Y3 and Y4 children enjoyed their Christingle event today at The High Street centre. Reverend Louise led a special Christingle celebration.
