Y6 Science Dissection

Year 6 has had a wonderful opportunity to work collaboratively to dissect a pig’s heart through identifying the different parts and discussing their different purposes. The children worked extremely well and were mature in their approach. Well done Year 6 – myself and Mrs Richardson were extremely impressed!

Year 1 & Year 6 Buddy Learning

Year 6 and Year 1 met last week to discuss their Science learning. Mrs Smith and Miss Webb were really impressed with the conversations that took place and the vocabulary that was used. Well done everyone! 

Bikeability

Over the last week, Year 6 have been learning to ride with the Bikeability team. The class have shown amazing attitudes and great resilience throughout the sessions. Keep being incredible Year 6! 

Year 6 take on Orienteering

Year 6 have had a wonderful day at Ulley, taking part in a series of orienteering challenges. The class worked extremely well in their groups to find the 15 different points around the lake; putting their map reading skills to good use!  Well done Year 6! 

Orienteering Challenges!
