During History this week, we looked at the arrival of the Vikings at Lindesfarne. We discussed how the monasteries were attacked and what items have been discovered on archaeological digs that provides us with factual evidence. We then recreated the arrival of the Vikings to Lindesfarne.
Year 6 had a wonderful time at the climbing wall last week. All the children showed great resilience and sportsmanship throughout the morning and achieved some amazing climbs! A big thank you to Mr Walker and the climbing team for setting up the event. We all had a fantastic time!

In Science today we have looked at circuits. What makes a complete circuit and what equipment we need to make sure it works. We discussed current in electricity and began to look at renewable energy sources.
FS2 have been making the most delicious smoothies! We used orange juice and many different berries, we even tried our ingredients first before adding them to the blender. Last week was a lovely first week back for FS2, just look at our fantastic Maths learning! We linked our Maths activity to Jack and the Beanstalk. We measured the beanstalks using cubes focusing on counting carefully to find out how long our beanstalks were. We then practiced one more and one less.
