In FS2, they have been learning about what’s under the sea. A book they are really enjoying is ‘Somebody Swallowed Stanley’ by Sarah Roberts. The story is about an old plastic bag being mistaken for a jellyfish, until a kind boy saves a turtle from swallowing the bag and instead recycles the bag into something new.
Just like the story, FS2 decided to recycle old bags and turn the bags into beautiful kites using materials from their workshop area. The kites were beautiful and the children were very tired after running around outside encouraging the kites to fly.
