This week, our Year 4, 5, and 6 children enjoyed a wonderful visit to the local church for a special Harvest Festival.
They sang beautifully during the hymns, explored the different areas of the church, and learned how each is used during services. From the pulpit to the font, the pupils showed great curiosity and respect as they deepened their understanding of this important community space.
As part of the visit, the children also took time to reflect and write down what they are thankful for this Harvest. Their thoughtful reflections reminded everyone of the many small things we can appreciate each day.
Of course, no visit would be complete without a well-deserved treat of juice and biscuits for all! A big thank you to the church team for their warm welcome and for making the visit so memorable.
