In Y3, we have been designing and building boats made from wood as part of our DT project. ⛵
We needed to create detailed plans which involved using our maths skills to measure exactly how long each piece of wood needed to be.
Our next task was to saw the wood to the correct size before gluing each piece together and painting the boat.
Everyone was so proud of their designs and we even tried them out on water. Because of Y3’s brilliant design skills, they all floated!
