We held a proud day to celebrate us all as individuals and show how we are all unique. We wore clothes that showed something we are proud of about ourselves. Some children wore their uniform from Rainbows or a sports club they go to. Some children wore some special clothing that they might wear to a celebration.
We started the day with an assembly featuring our Young Voices song which the children sang with Heather Small at the Sheffield Arena “What have you done today to make you feel proud?. We thought of things throughout the day that made us feel proud about ourselves.
Chloe created her own outfit because she loves to sew. She created her own dungarees to celebrate her creativity skills!
Parents were invited in to a Proud day share event with their children. Children chose a piece or pieces of work which they were immensely proud of and shared these pieces with their parents. As a school we are very proud of our children and our parents are proud too!
