Last week Year 1 have started their learning about artist Claude Monet. We know that he is a French artist who painted landscapes.
We spoke like artists when discussing different pieces of his artwork. “It makes me feel calm because he has painted nature and there are no people there”. We then developed our painting skills by using brushes of different thickness to create lines and mixing our own colours.
We can’t wait to create our own landscape paintings inspired by Claude Monet.
