Personal Development at Ashwood

At Rawmarsh Ashwood primary school we work hard to become the best citizen we can possibly be. As part of our PSHE work we use the Jigsaw charter to help us to be respectful.

Each week in class and assemblies we use what is happening in the news and topics of discussion through the Votes for schools programme. We discuss as a class our opinions on questions and think about whether we disagree or agree with statements. This helps us to understand our own opinions and the opinions of others and have opportunities to debate.
