Christingle Celebrations

Y2, Y3 and Y4 children enjoyed their Christingle event today at The High Street centre. Reverend Louise led a special Christingle celebration.

The children did sign language to Silent night and sang Calypso carol and Wish you a merry Christmas. It was so moving to sing in church, it even reduced some people to tears.

Children took part in some Christmas themed craft activities and had their own glow stick to show how they can light up the world.

Each child received their very own Christingle kit to take home to make a Christingle with their families at home.

The children had a lovely time and followed the Ashwood way.

Well done Ashwood!

A special thank you to Reverend Louise and the High Street Centre volunteers and Morrisons for donating all the oranges for our children to make the Christingles with.
