On Friday 8th November, our special mention assembly focused on celebrating achievements in Religious Education, Philosophy and Ethics.
The children this term have been learning a range of things from the parable of The Lost Son in Y1, where the children have completed freeze frames and drama, to comparisons of faiths and Humanism in other year groups. As a whole school, we discussed the importance of faith, non faith and respecting others and their beliefs.

What’s coming up….
Next week the children through school will have the opportunity to see a pantomime. M and M productions will be coming to school to share this years panto which is Snow White. I have secured external funding for this, so there is no cost to parents.
A letter will go out next week with regards to Christmas events.
Keep working hard Ashwood!
