Cleaning Up Rawmarsh in Y4!

Year 4 spent the morning litter picking around Rawmarsh, and they collected two full bags of rubbish. The children were spoken to by community members who were so pleased and proud of what they were doing. Y4 then bumped into some volunteers who were there to help clean the streets, and they were so happy to have helpers that day.

In Geography, the children are looking at how to deal with pollution and the effects on the environment. They are also using what they have gained today to support our writing in English, where they will be writing a formal letter to the council, asking for more bins and recycling provisions.

Amazing work, well done Y4!
