This week, as part of FS2’s learning around ‘people who help us in our community’, Police Officers came to visit. They talked about keeping people safe, and how they help grown-ups and children in the Rawmarsh community. They then showed the children different parts of their uniform, and even allowed them to have a go at wearing it.
They then showed FS2 different radios from over the years, to show how the technology has changed and improved. The children were able to compare past and present, which led them to looking at old photos of the Rawmarsh community, and comparing them to the present.
