This week, FS2 have been looking at the composition of 6 in Maths. First, the children explored how 6 can be made with a 5, plus one more. They then quickly began to look for other ways to make 6, such as using the die patterns to help visualise the amounts, and numberblocks to demonstrate any compositions they had missed.
