Last term, FS2 really enjoyed the theme of Traditional Tales, with the final story being Rapunzel. As always, the children have loved acting out the story, while using lots of key vocabulary. They also really enjoy story maps, and have used these to retell the story independently. Rapunzel’s tower also supported their Maths learning, and led to lots of lovely mathematical language, comparing size and height.
