F1 had a brilliant week learning all about spiders. We started to use paint brushes to enclose spaces and represent the shape of a spider. This was tricky because we had to control the brush carefully.
We also spent some time cleaning cobwebs from our home corner and tracing web lines that spiders had made in our writing area.
In addition to this, we used our gross motor skills in the block play area to build water spouts for the spider to travel down and we had to use lots of positional language to describe where the spiders were on the water spout.
