Coronation Celebrations!

All of the children had a really busy and exciting time celebrating the Coronation. It is lovely to watch history in the making!

Children designed a Coronation cup and saucer. These designs were then judged and the winners got to go to Paint a pot to put their designs onto ceramics!

Alfie is part of the Rawmarsh Ringers and has rung the bell to celebrate the King’s Coronation.

The children took part in a “If I was King for the Day” competition with Rawmarsh Library and the winners had afternoon tea and activities with the other winners from other schools.

Children with a keen interest in art took part in the Royally Big Portrait.

To finish off a week of celebrations we held our own version of a street party with our Coronation picnic. The children enjoyed their royal picnic and sang songs from different decades.
